Our Business

We are a small breeding and hunter/juper barn.  We are the busy parents of triplets so we do our best to juggle family, work, and horses.  We have a 170 acre farm outside of Austin, Texas and have a brand new European style barn, covered arena with superior footing, and miles of trail riding trails to enjoy.

Dr. Guy Hodgson

Guy has been passionate about horses and show jumping for over 30 years.  He has competed in numerous grand prixes and has placed in the top 2 amateurs for the zone.  Not only is he one of the leading amateur owner jumper riders in Texas, he also finds time to be a father, an Eye Doctor and run a successful internet company, www.framesdirect.com.  Frames Direct offers a full range of eyeglasses, sunglasses, eyewear available in 1000's of different frames & styles.

Guy loves discussing and teaching people how to pick a good jumper as well as discussing the bloodlines that produced outstanding jumpers.

Kimberly Bures Hodgson

Kim has loved horses since she was a small child in Edna, Texas.  As an adult, Kim decided to do something about her dream of owning her own horse and started taking lessons in different cities as she traveled as a Senior Manager/IT consultant for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young LLP.  At one riding lesson in Houston, she met Guy and they married in 2006.

Kim is a PMI certified project manager and has done consulting and project management for companies such as Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini, Stewart Title, Continental Airlines, Cinergy to name a few.

Guy and Kim had triplet boys in 2008 and enjoy sharing their love of horses with the boys. 

Kim serves as the webmaster for our website in her free time.

Welcome Nicki Mathen!

Nicki joined our team in 2011 and develops our young horses and is our barn manager. 

She has been in the industry for 15 years and lots of experience across the  United States especially in California.
